Purpose:
Preacher Curls are a great way
to really isolate your biceps.
By sitting on a Preacher Bench
with your arms locked against
the pad, you're not able to
cheat as much as a Standing
Barbell Curl.
Muscles Involved:
Biceps
Forearms
Seated
on a Preacher Bench,
grab an EZ-Curl bar
with an underhand grip
about shoulder-width
apart. Let the bar hang
at arm's length in front
of you (Not Shown).
Proceed to bring the
bar up as high as you
can. Shown here is the
midpoint
of the exercise.
Proceed
to bring the bar up
as high as you can,
keeping your elbows
locked. Then slowly
lower the bar until
your arms are hanging
straight in front of
you.
