LEG EXTENSIONS

Purpose: To tone the front of your thighs. This is one of the best exercises for giving your quadriceps excellent definition.

Muscles Involved:
Quadriceps

Seated on a Leg Extension Machine, grasp the handles to the side and lock your feet under the padded bar in front of you.
Slowly extend your legs out in front of you. Shown here is the midpoint of the exercise.
 
Once you have extended your legs as high as possible, hold for a moment. Once completed, slowly return to the starting position.
