Fitness
has been a large part of my life for over 6 years.
I have dedicated a great deal of time to improving
my physical health. I've become addicted to the high
you get after a good workout. I was a very thin person
in my teenage years and decided to change. I wanted
to acquire muscular definition to gain some respect
from everyone who told me I was too small, including
my high school baseball coach. I put on twenty pounds
of muscle when I was 17 and never looked back. I continue
to work hard today at the age of 23 and the results
are rewarding. I avoid alcohol, I eat right, and I
plan to continue my current level of intensity throughout
my adult life.
I
strive to help others with their fitness goals. I have
trained a few friends informally and it feels great to
hear their results. It is amazing what can happen when
you have the drive and determination to improve your quality
of life.

I
became interested in exercise and more specifically, bodybuilding,
when I was just turning 15. I idolized champion bodybuilder
and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger at a very early age. Although
I have no plans for being as massive as Arnold was, I
use a lot the same principles that he did in sculpting
my physique.
After putting on my "Freshman 15," at the end
of my first year at the University of Minnesota, I became
very interested in good nutrition. It's not enough for
someone to just focus on how much protein or how few carbs
there are in foods, there are so many dynamic elements
that people need to take into account. As always, I'm
learning more and more everyday and am anxious to pass
on that knowledge to you as well.
